wrap exterior trim- How to? help

The above areas of the silver trim I'm going to wrap with 3m cf. HOWEVER I've seen other have chosen to wrap with vinyl too and I wanted to know whats the best way to pop off the silver trim so I don't damage/bend anything????? Having the vinyl actually wrap the edges will be a much cleaner look rather than a going over and cutting the sides. I'm planning on doing the two center pillars seperating the rear from front doors. I pointed out the specific areas id be doing. Thanks fellas any help would be appreciated

is there a better write up as to how to get the mirrors off. the link and everything doesn't work for me and those "metal Clips" are being a B/*^# and it looks like i'm gonna break them

The clips are pretty robust, I doubt you'll break them.

Plasti dip ... its $6 a can ... you ever get tired of it... peels right off.. wrap sucks :-)

The plan is carbon wrap it, I'm not opposed to.plastidip since its simple and easy and if I mess up, 6$ is nothing to me
