Holy cow man you've really got a knack for this! Just out of curiosity, what did you shoot those with and would you mind putting higher resolution copies up on imgur or a host like that? I'd totally work these into my cycle of desktop pictures :D

barelars 12-02-2012 03:43 AM

Thanks :D I shot these with a Nikon D600 with a nikon 35mm F2.

So its now christmas time so the Legacy is also getting som presents:

* Grom audio bluetooth (with streaming)/usb/3.5mm/iphone connector.
* Haynes manual
* Satellite controls for the steering wheel

http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4b852569.jpg

Giving the Legacy its first present today, the new satellite controls:

Disconnected the battery, and turned on the ignition to drain leftover power, also waitet for apr.10min.
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...psd2822d8b.jpg

The airbag is fastened with torx on both sides
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...ps25c0d7d7.jpg

To loosen the airbag you would need a small flathead screwdriver to pull out those yellow locks on the connectors, the small earth wire also has a little lock that you need to depress to loosen. (dont be infront of the aribag while doing this step, and put it away with the subaru logo upwards where it cant hit anything if it should go off, better safe than sorry)
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...psd5f7672a.jpg

http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...psac24f7bd.jpg

Had to remove the steering wheel to unscrew the buttons
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...psa89793fc.jpg

Then its just A matter of reversing the order and using a torquewrench to tighten it up (45nm)
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...ps89d50b3c.jpg

Works great!

Dirt really shows off when using a flash :(

Merry christmas everybody!
