Painted some BRZ wheels gold, gonna put them on OBP leggy. Came out pretty nice. What you think?

yeah I sanded them down and washed them before painting. haven't mounted them yet, but when i do i'll post the pictures

Looks good! The BRZ wheels as they rolled off the factory floor leave a lot to be desired.

did you put a clear coat over top?

This. And how many coats of gold/clear(if any clear)?

6 light coats of gold, 3 coats of clear

Damn, this looks nice!!!! Much better than stock, as previously stated. Those stockers look weird with the silver and gloss black.

I could actually see this monotone BRZ wheel look catching on. Gunmetal or bronze would also look really good on these. They would make a great alternative to 2011 WRX wheels.

What are the dimensions of those wheels?
Diameter, width, offset?

wrx wheels are way better

17x8 +53 vs. 18x7? 7.5?
Dunlop SP01 vs. Prius tires?

17x7, not sure of the offset

looks way better in gold. looking forward to seeing them mounted..
