Window sill trim option help
Have a '12 "Crystal Black" LGT. I will be blacking out my headlights - JDM style basically. I do have the stock Carbon Fiber interior too. SOOO... The chrome trim around the windows I can't stand - I'm going to vinyl strip them. HELP - :spin: - Choices:
Black Matte (matches the non chrome thats present) or Black Gloss (would match the actual paint of car) or Carbon Fiber (matches the interior and provides a bit of contrast) This will be all 3M vinyl strips. What would be cool would be if someone was fantastic with Photo Shop and can show what these choices would look like.... Thanks all! |
Personal opinion, flat black.

^ yep matte black

You can try a little matte black experiment yourself with electrical tape. Matte black would match the window rubber.

I can post up some Carbon pics ... let me know.
My window trim, rain gutters, front grill, and piece in the opening on the front bumper.(don't know what it's called). I'll post em as soon as I take em. |
Matte black is the only way to go IMO.

You may want to check out the 3M Satin Black. I got some samples of the Matte, Satin and Gloss and after seeing all of them I really liked the Satin. It seemed to be a closer match to the pillars and less likely to show finger prints than the Matte. I have yet to get around to wrapping the trim with it, so no pics currently.
