Need to get Navigation DVD Vol # 7 for Tribeca
 
Hi, can someone please help me upgrate my GPS/DVD on my Subaru Tribeca 2008. I am looking to get a new DVD VOL #7. Please let me know where can I get this DVD.

Ayup. The whole "buy a new nav dvd every year or two for the price of A BRAND F'N NEW GPS" thing turned me off from OEM in-dash GPS units.

While many here own Tribecas (because Subaru), you may want to ask on dedicated forums such as www.sb9t.com for example.

Also, you can upgrade from DVD based Kenwood unit to SD-card based Kenwood unit which I believe can use downloadable up-to-date maps. Remember reading a DIY thread with part ## etc. Cost was within ball park for single DVD upgrade.

Or you could just trade the car on a 2018.

The NAV in our new Outback is much better, just tell it the address and it's loads it in seconds.
