Earthquake! 4.6

Damn, that was scary

pfoyle 10-16-2012 05:52 PM

Yup, first one I've ever felt... definitely disconcerting when my chair is shaking and it's not because of the burrito I had for lunch...:rolleyes:

Nrw 10-16-2012 05:56 PM

If it wasn't for the bourbon bottles shaking, I wouldn't have known.

pfoyle 10-16-2012 06:00 PM

Bourbon never lies... that's why it's good to consult with it frequently!

Felt it out in Ayer. My first as well.

Tell me about it. I was outside underneath my car which was on a jack when the ground started shaking! I got right out luckily.

 Good thing it wasn't a 4.7+! Might be time for some ramps with us all living on an active fault line now! ;)

Wicked 10-16-2012 06:56 PM

It was like being in Cali again.

08Legacy08 10-16-2012 07:03 PM

It reminds me of living in Northern California... wow. Had fun back in '89.

Drift Motion 10-16-2012 09:35 PM

You are scared when it's only 4.6?

Did you change your pants afterwards?

I remember living in LA during the Northridge Earthquake in 94. I was 4 but I still remember waking up to the shaking and my uncle trying to get in his car cause it was moving across the driveway.
