What's stopping you from making big power?

So, the 5th gen has been around for a while and there are really no big power lgts out there. There are a few in the works, but not close to running. My question is the title; what's stopping you from making big power?

Time.... Patience.... Bought in April. I think my pace is ok though...I guess if I want to speed it up I can sell my kid... :)

A reliable, tried and true solution. Thus far the upgraded turbos have not had much luck. A couple more are in the works so I'm holding out until I see a trouble-free setup.

I'm stage 2, I'm gonna do TMIC+protune soon and probably do small turbo swap later on. As far as big power goes, its mainly just time. Since its a 5th gen LGT, I don't really see big power out of this without spending a ton of money and long downtime to get everything done right. I personally need it to be a solid DD and its been great so far. If one of these days I start to crave more power, I'd rather just get a project car and do it with that.

Me, no desire to make big power. Sad to say if I wanted that I would not have purchased a Legacy.

Cobb doesn't even have 2012 stage 2 maps... NO AFTERMARKET!!!

I totally understand where one would coming from here.... I though bought the legacy FOR the power potential coming from an unassuming car.... actually this forum was the main pusher for my choice.

<< Already makes big power.

At least for one of these cars

Disagree on aftermarket.... Want catalogs of stuff for a subbie? Buy a WRX or STi. But if you buy a Legacy, on purpose, for the purpose of a Legacy then you are limited on CHOICE alone. Just my opinion.
