Quick Question for Wheel/rim size 2010 LGT
As with a lot of people, I am preparing for winter for my newly acquired 2010 LGT. I am wondering if a 2007 OEM 17" 5 spoke rim from a 2007 LGT fit well on the 2010 LGT. I am guessing from reading other threads that the 17" will be paired with 225/50/17 tires?
Thanks in advance |
Yes, the wheel will fit, and yes, the comparable tire size would be a 225-50/17

Thanks!! |
Or use the oem's for winter with some sweet Blizzaks and get some summer wheels for next year.

My OEMs are 18s and I would prefer to go 17s for winter. Also, I tend to like OEM/stock rims for now. This leads to another question as to a 2006 LGT 17 5 spoke. Are these the same as the 2007s? Will they fit nice? |
For winter rubber, why not step down to the base 2.5i 16's? More sidewall could be a good thing in the winter for ya... And tires are cheaper to boot.

I have read and correct me if I'm wrong that the 2010+ Legacy GT requires the 17" to clear the brakes and 16" won't fit. |

I know, helpful post, right? |
The 4th gen LGT 17" wheels do fit the 5th gen no problem, but the offset is totally wrong. It will look extremely sank in. I know because I tested them on my 2013. You will need about a 25mm spacer to make it look proper.

16s will not fit because of front calipers.
5th gen are 18x7.5 +55mm offset and way sunk in. 4th gen LGT rims are 17x7 +55mm offset and way sunk in. Now, listen up. 3.6R rims are 17x7.5 and are +48 offset; not as sunk in... Tire rack now has 17" steelies. |

Is this what you want to do?
Yes it works, no issues. |

How sunk in is it? What is the offset? Is it from a 2007? Is there a difference in OEM between a 2007 and 2006? I ask as I am looking at rims that are currently on sale locally. Questions, questions  |
