Legacy Sport?

Anyone know anything about a 2013 Legacy "Sport" trim or package?

Nope... at least not OEM.

As per what my dealer told me when I bought my Legacy, Sport package comes with lip spoiler and moon roof.

Probably what dealers call their "selected" cars with certain options. Just like the local CNY dealer said most of their cars come with "winter packages" which is all season mats, trunk mat, and splash gaurds. They just order the options and call it what they want.

Looked into it alittle bit more. There is a Sport trim or Special Apperance Legacy in the pipline. It only comes in select colors. Thats all I know. Might be similar to what a Special Appearance Outback is like.

We have had the Sport variant here for a while, and the following differences:

  • Tires 225/45R18 vs 205/60R16
  • Aluminum pedals
  • Tinted windows
  • Separate ventilation for rear passengers.
  • Leather seats.
  • Driver seat memory settings
  • Some cosmetic differences on the exterior as seen in pictures.
Things like HID, fog lights and heated seats are standard over here on all models.

But what's going to be classified as Sport in the US may be different.

I found this link on yahoo autos Canada:

There's nothing "sport" about a car that takes over 8 seconds to get to 60. Still, I wonder how much is backward compatible (mainly looking at the rear ventilation and memory seat).
