2008 Legacy sagging driver's side rear
 

Hey all - I started hearing a little bit of creaking and squeaking coming from the driver's side rear wheel area. When I pull into the driveway there is a mild "rubbing" sound. I measured floor to muffler on either side and looks like the driver's side is down about 1/4". Any ideas what that could be? Of course I'll be taking it in to the dealer, just curious if the forum had any insight. Thanks!

The shock absorbers are usually gas filled under pressure and if it has sprung a leak you may get that effect.

Let's us know what they saw? Mine is starting to do that about a year ago and I have a feeling it's the shocks. Though I think ima just gonna wait till it get louder or the get blown out. Don't have the money for them right now.

Either shock or spring?

Failing strut. Being replaced under extended warranty.
