Anyone put the 2013 front sway in an LGT yet?

I have the part numbers, and want to order it, but I am worried the shape might be different since it's no longer going around an EJ engine - has anyone tried yet, or does anyone know if the shape is the same?

Parts numbers (from Subaruonlineparts) for the bar and bushings are:
STABILIZER F D26
Make: Subaru | Part#: 20401AJ00A

RUB BUSH STABI D25
Make: Subaru | Part#: 20414AJ10A x2

The GT has a different front bar than the 2.5i, I doubt they can be swapped.

Based upon several online parts sites, I am pretty sure they are the same - the 3.6 uses a different bar, but the ones for cars with the 2.5 engines are all the same. (the springs and struts come up different, though)

you're right, the 3.6R is the unique front bar out of the 3 models.

Ive done the 3.6r one.

OEM on a 2010+ GT is 23mm right?

sschmelcke 10-01-2012 12:16 PM

Yeah I did say "not so easily done" not that it couldn't be done and not that there isn't one available. I did mine with simple hand tools and no unbolting the engine; just some twisting to thread it through.

So installation difficulty aside, does anyone know if the 2013 26mm bar will fit? (the Whiteline one is an option, but the Subaru one is $70+shipping online... vs. >$200)

The 26mm is very straight for the 3.6R. With only two small humps equally spaced for the exhaust. Take a look under your car and see how straight your bar is. If its got a lot of bends in it then your out of luck.

I am not looking to install the 3.6R 26mm bar in my LGT - that clearly wouldn't work - I am looking to install the 26mm bar from the 2013 2.5i. (the fitment concern is based on the departure from the EJ engine - I didn't know if there were any extra bends, etc. to clear the new engine design) - the part numbers in my original post are for the 2.5i bar.
