Turbo upgrade supporting mods?
Got a 3076 BB sitting around I want to install. The turbo is a direct fit besides the intake. Anyways I would like to install this and am wondering if I need to tune. I know the 07 spec b has a OEM boost controller. So will the ecu know the difference with the boost levels within the rpm range. I am not going to just throw this on and cross my fingers. I have headers, up pipe, down pipe on the way. Plan on gathering parts for the build and dong my research before major install upgrades.

Long story short before the 'YOU MUST SEARCH' folks jump on your...Yes, for the sake of your car, get a tune lined up before throwing that puppy on. You'll need fueling for sure as well...find a tuner, talk to them, get recommendations for your setup.

Stock engine internals will probably give up on life as well.

Injectors, fuel pump, tune, talk to your tuner.

Your computer may see the same boost levels in the rpm range but it sure as hell not gonna see the same air flow levels with that 30R.

This thread could turn legendary... i want to be a part of page 1.

From what I've read, he wouldn't need a tune as long as he ran an aftermarket downpipe.

And 100psi in his tires.
