Who has cracked a rotor?
 

Heavy brake judder at the end of a track day, thought it was uneven brake deposits...

that happened to one of my old racing brake rotors. had it for the better part of 30k miles and several autox seasons

My DBA's cracked in the rear and weren't all that worn. disappointing.

Cracked BAER rotors with the Durango towing an Airstream.

My cheap rotors from this guy www.brakeswap.com lasted longer than my DBAs.

Same here. Thats when I started testing the Centric Premiums and found them to last 90% as long as the DBAs at 50% of the price.

I run NAPA blanks on my Miata and I know every C5Z owner I've talked to at Sebring run NAPA blanks. Cheap to replace and can take the abuse of track pads. :)

I've cracked a rear rotor before. It was an OEM blank @ 80k miles

Oh snap, I better check my DBA's for cracks. I've noticed some brake juddering under hard braking when autocrossing. Had them for 3.5 years now. Got new pads installed/bedded in last month too, so I doubt it's pad deposits.

Me too! :)

We are usually on the same page when it comes to track car setups....

I will be looking into some centrics. 3 track days and 9000 miles and my rotors are full of hairline cracks. No splits yet, but they look terrible.
