The Wait is Over for the new design 19in Wheel

I got a call today from my wheel seller that the new design of 19inch rim already came out. I think it is worth the wait. I already saw from the web how it looks like. It's really a Vossen CV3 look alike. Wow! I hope it will fit and look good on my leggy.. I'm excited to visit the wheel store this weekend.:)

The wheel price in China is quite expensive because of tax, especially for those imported stuff from other countries. I have not gotten the price for this yet, but if this is the same price as the other 19inch ACE wheel, then it should be around USD450+ for each rim. :(

Would you believe it cost me almost USD 50K (310K CNY) for my 2.5i? that's the reason why I didn't get the LGT, it will cost me additional USD10K for that.

I'm also leaning toward the hyper silver but will decide once I see them personally

The only concern I have is it seems it's wheel offset is ET35. I remember BLKLGT05 new rim is ET45 and it's almost aligned to the wheel fender. I hope they are available in ET45.

With a 7.5 or 8 inch wide rim, the +35 will likely be fine. The tire will move outward about 1 inch. An 8.5 with that offset might require fender rolling depending on how lowered your car is. A 9 or 9.5 with that offset will definately take some finesse to get it to fit right and may not work at all.

Matte black would look pretty good if you blackout other chrome trims and headlight housing, if not then silver/black.

hey gteaser trust me it works ken yoshida has 20x9.5 with spacers it looks killer!!!

GTEASER 09-13-2012 02:13 PM

Really? With +35 offset? If so, good to know. Thanks!!! You'd think Subaru could have filled up the fender wells just a little more than they did if you can stick the tires out about 2 inches farther.

If you keep the diameter the same, then +35 is doable. Running 18x9 rims with 245/40/R18. No roll, no pull, no rubbing.

I just talked with the seller and he told me, the available offset are ET35, 42 and 45. They have 19x8.5 and 19x10. Hence I'm not too worried anymore that it won't fit. So I need to pre-order them this weekend and need to wait for another 15-20 days :(
