Got around to doing this today before vacation. Steps to install. 1. Remove both front wheels 2. Disconnect end links 3. Removing bushings and brackets. 4. Remove 1 tie rod end. 5. Twist the stock bar out one end. Make sure the ends of the bar are above the tie rods. 6. Put in the new bar 7. Tighten bushings and brackets. 8. Tighten end links. I could not reuse the poly end links because they were to small. Stock for now. Car is much more neutral now. I have a 25mm rear sway. Haven't really gotten to rip into her yet. It's a bar and the car feels stiffer. No engine lifting is needed on the 3.6. Hope this helps fellow members. |
Cool beans! Now we need the ever-too-secretive P/N.

The worst part of all of this is I won't be driving the car for 2 weeks. Oh well the hard part is done
Anyone have a source for whiteline 26mm front bushings?
new bar add any harshness?
Didn't feel like it but I'm away for two weeks so I won't get to really test it till the 15th
I also went from poly bushings back to rubber so that may be why. I am looking for 26mm bushings but only whiteline makes them and they are not available in the US.
I picked up mine today and I'm super stoked.
Awesome. I am working with an Australian company for poly bushings and brackets.
Any impression yet?
Regarding the whiteline poly bushings I ordered the whiteline front lca bushings for my 2011 through www.globalperformanceparts.com, who is a whiteline distributor, even though they weren't available in the US yet. I'm pretty sure that since it was part of their regular order from AUS there was only the UPS charge from Michigan. This may be more cost effective. |
Mrt performance has a set and are shipping them to me as we speak. It's not as huge of a difference as a rear bar. Car handles more neutral. Tracks better too.
^ notice it being any rougher riding up front?
No but I went From poly to rubber bushings. It's actually smoother. I'm assuming that will change when my poly come In
