Driver Side Sun Shade Removal
 

Hey guys, thought i would repost this thread here and see if i could get any help.
Hey guys,
sorry if this is the wrong forum, but i was wondering if anyone had some advice on at the very least removing the sun shade for the time being.
I went to pull it down today while leaving work (Of course it picked the worst day at work to do this.) and it looks like something broke in it.
It now just limply hangs down, and i can't lock the thing up, so i'm forced to have it down to the front and duck under it to drive, or push it off to the left and have it block a good deal of my peripheral vision.
Anyhow, i want to get the thing out for now, but i'm not sure how to remove the shade, and didn't really want to go popping things out and trying to find screws without any sort of guidance.
Thanks guys, hopefully someone has some idea.

Take the plastic cover off its the one closer to the door. Under the cover there's 2 or 3 bolts and a harness for the light. That's all. Mine went at 24k. Really bad design i guess

Mine just failed too. I'll try to take it out this weekend. Where did you guys order your replacement from?

If you're going to replace it anyway, upgrade to the one with the homelink built in. ;)
