Legacy Wagon 06-11-2012 05:49 AM

What are your plans for it?

monkeyposeur 06-11-2012 08:40 AM

Cool! Where did you find it? How many miles? Was it just sitting for a while? There are so many rusty bits under the hood.

legacyssturbofreak 06-11-2012 09:42 AM

monkey, its an east coast car. it will have rust lol. this one just doesnt have the rust that most of them have.

monkeyposeur 06-11-2012 09:50 AM

We salt the roads out here in Utah, but I guess not as much as back east! The body looks to be in great shape.

what he said^^^. when my 05 LGT sits for a couple days, the rotors already have rust on them... i have to drive the car atleast once a week to keep things clean and freely moving.

the 92ss sat for a few months so yea, from all the storms weve had here lately, it will have some surface rust, once everything is moving again it will all go away. as for the body, its SOLID!!!!! thats why i got it.

For an east coast car, the body looks MINT! Nice find.

sqc151 07-14-2012 10:06 AM

thanks, it started life in canada and then made its way to NY/NJ.

PeterJMC 07-14-2012 10:13 AM

Cool! Is this going to just be a DD?

sqc151 07-14-2012 10:16 AM

yes, this will be used as a daily while my 93ss gets a frame up restoration.

turbo970 07-14-2012 11:56 AM

monkeyposeur 07-15-2012 01:16 AM

^Don't give up yet. Your wagon is sweet too and should be running soon if we can figure out why no spark.
