Where the hell to install meth kit?

I have an 08 spec b. where in the hell can I put the meth jug/pump? AEM 1 gal. kit is what I have. on either side of the trunk it looks silly, and I was thinking of putting the container/pump in the r/f hole where the airbox was. (I have SPT SRI) anyone with 05-09 legacy have the AEM 1 gal. kit. pics, maybe?

Use the OEM washer fluid tank, strap the pump to the center vertical rad support, keep the electronics in cavity above the glove box.

what about when I get shit on my windshield?

bnguyenbb6 05-07-2012 08:30 PM

I thought some guys use wiper fluid for meth. Aren't some up to 30% meth? FWIW, I don't have a tank at all and its never been a problem. Even when its really dirty, I can see well enough to pull into a gas station and use their water/blade on the windshield.

Use your wipers, that's what they're there for. I use regular blue washer fluid in my WI system, and have been for nearly 5 years.

Im gonna use the supplied tank.

charlie_sheen 05-08-2012 05:58 AM

just hold it between your legs

How will I get road head comfortably?

I've seen better gains in performance with Boost Juice vs WWF

shtbxr22 05-08-2012 09:57 AM

I have 8 gallons of boost juice waiting.

No doubt, but I've never run out of washer fluid at the track or in bumble-phuck on a road trip. A matter of DD convenience I suppose.

Then the trunk is really your only option. If you think it looks silly back there, look into the JDM STi tank, think it's original purpose was a TMIC cooler or something, but it spans the width of the rear seats. Now that I think about it, you've got fold down seats, so that's a no go.

Other idea, take a heat gun, or low powered oven, to your tank and smash it down to a custom size that fits below the truck floor, in place of the foam storage tray.

Regardless of your meth source, you must tune for the addition or it's useless. Just adding meth without tuning actually hurts your performance, I've seen it on the dyno. I know you know this, just stating for those who may not.

Additionally, I've heard but haven't confirmed that 1 Gal WWF + 3 bottles of yellow Heet = Boost Juice. Would be an easy fix if you get stranded.

shtbxr22 05-09-2012 02:24 PM

Thanks for the heads up for "homemade" boost juice. Mine will be getting tuned for it, so I expect to get some nice gains. So does anyone with a legacy with meth have any trunk mounted pics?
