Is that 3 cop cars?

vtbimmer 04-14-2012 06:54 PM

That, my friend, would be four. Two state troopers and two town cruisers.

what ya'll do?

vtbimmer 04-14-2012 07:07 PM

Plausible deniability. They say someone 60 miles north of us called in and said we passed them at 100mph. Since when do people drive around with radar guns?
:iam:

Kodax 04-14-2012 07:23 PM

Whoa. Did you get a ticket on that? Seems kinda far fetched to me that the cops would believe what other people said.

vtbimmer 04-14-2012 07:40 PM

Nope. They took our phone numbers and address's because "they couldnt get ahold of said complaintant". They say if complaintant is willing to sign a sworn statement then we will be issued tickets. A bunch of shenanigans if you ask me....

Happens alot, chances are you just angered some older drivers. if you are issued tickets, go to court, your word against there's.

I see at least 1 FMIC so it probably took all 4 v-8's to catch up to you at probably well over your said accused velocity.

I don't see how that's legal. I wouldn't give them shit.

ColdBore 04-14-2012 08:32 PM

Completely legal. Same thing as someone reporting any other crime.

So...they had to look for 2 cars driving together in a 60 mile radius?

scoobyscoodle 04-15-2012 02:01 PM

...ociffer, I would like to reprt two cars who, in my untrained opinion, were traveling at over 100mph. I also have their detailed description, one was a silver 4 door sedan, the other was also in a 4 door sedan, but a darker color. There were people driving the cars, and those people seemed to know eachother.

Happens in the DC area all the time when a politician gets upset at being passed.

dave00100 04-15-2012 02:31 PM

in my experience, this happens on 89 all the time. 91 is a different story, they just send the border police after ya.

coldbore is correct, although this is an easier sucker to beat than other suspicious activity complaints from anonymous citizens based on your proximity to the reported area where the alleged criminal conduct took place. i'll echo coldbore's disclaimer since you are not a client of mine:
