How much money have you sunk into your Legacy?
Curious to see what others have dumped into the bottomless pit the signed up to talk about on this site...

The poll is anonymous, so don't worry about your wife realizing the depth of you addiction. If you spent more than $25,000... you should have bought a much faster/nicer car to begin with. ;)

Make sure to post how much you spent, if it is in fact above $25k :spin:

Don't include the cost of the car... or the divorce.

Vote now!!!

If I counted... I would be very unhappy with the result and it may stop me from doing more. Therefore I do not count how much.

I had to stop somewhere. I doubt that many will be above the upper limit. If they are, they are from Canada and have a SpecB for sale. ;)

I put everything into an excel a couple of weeks back when I started go stage 3 as I
was nearing 95k miles, let's just say that I had no idea I spent that much.

jmorris6689 04-07-2012 11:22 AM

Well over 25k for me built motor includes heads, bottom end, cams, turbo, $14000, STi 6 speed swap $6500, upgraded brakes $1100, avo fmic $1300, injectors $800, misc clutches (8total) $2000, then there is still tires, window tint, my old access port, various tunes, body part (grill, rims, hids, led interior, etc) exhaust $1200 the list goes on and on! No clue how much I have really spent but just from this short list I know it's far more than 25k

Between $7500 and 10k I would guess. But I have been modding and driving it for almost 7 years, so I don't think that's too bad.

tytek 04-18-2012 07:26 PM

So far just 1 person with $0 spent and 1 person with over $25k... pretty interesting.

More than half had spent between $3k and $10k.

lee07 04-21-2012 09:38 PM

U talking about gas, all other fluids, tires and regular maintenance too, right?

If so between 7.5-10k.

If not then under $1500 for stg2(power only)

3k a year just for gas for me.

Have owned the car for 4 months. Sadly I have spent enough on parts to have it about 80% paid off. Probably could have been wiser with my investments...

That Guy 2-1 04-21-2012 10:31 PM

Including cost of the car, about $1800 lol

2manysubies 05-08-2012 01:26 PM

Oops, Forgot the tires I bought yesterday(just didn't like the old ones, still 7/32's) for $900, and the $40 at the Subie dealer and who knows how much time to replace rear frozen toe adjustment hardware, BNR turbo, invidea TBE and catless UP, DW pump, PW TMIC, 3 port EBCS, Turbo oil lines, and, and and... I got a headache now. I guess My initial vote was low,, More like 7K.
