Legacy GT Trunk Tray Subaru Vs. Weather Tech Trunk Tray???
 

Just wondering if anyone purchased the weather tech Trunk Tray for their LGT??

I currently ordered my LGT with both all weather mats and trunk tray from Subaru but after reading some posts and getting some help from other users I have decided to go with the weathertech mats instead of the Subaru.

My question now is whether I should do the same for the Trunk Tray?? Does anyone have any experience with both the Subaru trunk tray and the Weather tech?

I would think the OEM trunk tray would be just fine since it has a lip...and $105 WT vs $50 OEM...you decide.

I have the OEM mat. No complaints here. Unlike the OEM car mats the trunk mat has a lip the entire way around.

I have the Subaru trunk tray and WeatherTech mats. The mats are really where you get the benefit over OE rubber mats since they fit better and cover more of the carpet (depth and width). Their design can also hold more run-off of snow/water compared to regular mats.

I have Subaru's trunk tray. I'm happy with it. The high lip is nice.

Weathertech has much better coverage. With salt in the winter it will be all over your shoes and the OEM ones will not protect the sides of your footwells, the weathertech digital fit is far and above (literally and figuratively) and worth the extra money!

I have the standard Subaru trunk tray and am happy enough with it.

Agreed on the OE mats not doing the best job, but the OE tray is fine.

Weathertech is the way to go.

ESPECIALLY inside if you have snow and salt.

I'm thinking of getting the WeatherTechs for the fronts. The OE ones aren't giving me enough coverage...

I agree, I got the weathertech mats for the front and rear seats but the OEM trunk mat. The OEM trunk mat does a good job in terms of coverage/quality and it's wayyyy cheaper.

I have the Subaru trunk tray and couldn't be happier. It does a great job serving its purpose

I got both the oem trunk and floor mats free with the car. I would agree that the trunk is well worth it, but the floor ones do lack coverage especially for the the driver.
