Official 5th Generation Catback Exhaust Thread
I am now in the market for a CBE system...looking here and there...just wanted to start a thread that has it all!
Show me some pics...before and after would be nice! Videos would be even awesomer...especially before and after!! Comments: Ease of installation, pros and cons, workmanship... Price and where to buy: So far I have found Invidia, Borla, Magnaflow, and AVO...what did I miss? AND everything I have seen is single tip ~4"! Is there any dual tip out there or am I just going to have to custom make my own? Thanks, CRAZY KEN |

KrazyK - not sure if these clips are useful in the decision process.
They sound very different in person! Have not seen single tips. May need to mod the bumper opening for that? |

All the video clips really needs to be shot with the same camera and a wider freq. response microphone in order to make a fair and accurate judgment. All of the cars should be warmed up already, so we don't have any misleading/overly excessive tones. The same car would be ideal! Agreed on the dual tips as well...the rear bumper opening is perfectly rounded. Will look funny with dual tips. definitely needs fabrication to do it right! The search continues, CRAZY KEN Maybe I should do a poll on which one to get instead! |
