I got the Morimoto HID kit for my headlights and they are amazing. Quality is top notch, service is great, the harness has a relay in it. If it were me this is where I would get all of it in terms of HID stuff. Price is higher then some but get what you pay for.

For interior lights, daytime runners, and back up you can go LED. I usually use superbrightleds.com and there you can put your car in and it will give you all the bulb numbers. I've used them before and never had a problem.

FYI, people use v-led.com too but I ordered a set for my city lights that were 5k to match my 5k HID headlights but the leds were more greenish and didn't like it. I just had better matches with superbrightleds.com

The DRL are your highbeams on 50% power, you can't replace them with LED.

Correct. DRL/high beams. I left those stock.

I just bought Morimoto hid kit from retrofitsource.com also. I've gone through many hid kits. I think I'll stick with this company. Ddmtuning and ijdmtoy also carry 194 bulb for your need. Anyway, HOw do you like the hid kits? austin. I only had mine for a week. Do you have to aim your headlight or something?

This website will tell you what kind of bulb you have in your car
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...de/default.htm
If you want the most light output, I'll stick with 4300K. Obviously, if you go any higher than 4300K, you'll get less light output.
Low beam: h7
High beam: 9005
Fog light: h11

im kinda lost here. ok so i can just replace the bulds in the foglights to mimic the hid lighting? also the Morimoto HID is what i should order? does anyone have the model number so make sure i order the right one

If you are confused about what you have to order, just wait until you have to install them :spin:

There are some good write ups on how to do it. IMO, dropping the bumper will be your best bet.

great.... im good at that stuff normally but will see. having trouble finding out what to buy and what i need to replace all.. maybe i should just leave it alone. lol. i tinted all my windows. went with 20 percent on the 5 windows and 50 percent in the front windshield. love it. just want some better lighing inside the car and backup lights.

If you are in any way mechanically inclined, you will have no problem doing the install. I ordered 6 smd 31mm led festoon bulbs for my two map lights and my dome light. They brighten it up nicely. I also replaced my license plate lights, my lights under the drivers and passenger doors, and my front position lights (the ones in the drl/highbeam housing) with 5 led w5w wedge bulbs. I'm very happy with the results.

dpgriffin 11-22-2011 06:30 PM

were did you get them? i cant seem to find the 5 led for the w5w. i see 192 or 168 as replacement. were did you get them from? thanks

RailKill 11-22-2011 06:43 PM

Here are the w5w on ebay. I have ordered bulbs from them many times and I have to say they have good quality items and VERY fast shipping
