FS (CA) IPR TMIC Black - Used
I went with an Itsme FMIC (powder coated black) awhile back and need to sell this thing. It was a PITA to install and I didn't get it quite right the first time so there is a slight gash on the bottom from rubbing on one of the hard lines. It works perfect and holds boost, just doesn't look pretty :(

Thanks man. It's just been sitting in my room and it's not show-room quality so I'm letting it go for a low price. I bought the intercooler from a vendor here so I figure I'd try and sell it here first.
This intercooler is huge! When installing, it will hit the rain gutter by the firewall as you drop it into place. Getting the throttle body hose to stay on the intercooler is a PITA, I had to reclock my turbo like 2mm clockwise to get it to stay on on the throttle body hose and not come off while tightening the turbo flange or boosting.
As you squeeze it into the turbo flange, the intercooler side will rub against the flange, scratching the paint off. I recommend putting a towel on the top of the intercooler and on the hard line just below the throttle body hose so the intercooler doesn't touch anything hard as your wiggling it into place. I also removed those sleeves on the throttle body hose because it just kept sliding off.
Good to know. Ill keep that in mind when the time comes. Being its size, how much of the air that flows trough to scoop actually blows onto the IC?; i.e. surface area wise.
This is how an IPR looks with the trimmed engine cover on. When you install it, take off the rubber end piece from the throttle hose (it ought to just slide off). As a first thing when you slide in the TMIC, tighten down the throttle hose; otherwise, it will be a bitch later on. Then thread in the turbo bolts so that maybe 2~4mm is left before they are fully tight (you should be able to move the TMIC a bit). Then, you have to "play" around to get the support bracket on the other side to line up.
