Where did you get your Double din bezel kit?

I am getting a double din radio, 7" touch screen(soon) and want to have the kit ready for the install, any suggestions on where to pick it up?

Thanks in Advance.

Someone posted that they got this one:

I am getting a new HU soon and am glad you asked this question because I would like to know if this is the best solution out there - and its only $20. I will be getting this HU:

and these accessory parts:

This is what came with my HU from Crutchfield for free.

Even though it doesn't have a flush mount like the one posted above, my HU screen will tilt to adjust. Plus you don't have to cut the cross support in your dash. ;)

^^ I don't like that one as much because I want the DD head unit to fit in the dash with more of a stock feel, so at an angle. That one (95-8903B) has it at a right angle mount and there is a lip at the bottom of the bezel. For that reason I am going with the 95-8904B. Crutchfield doesn't offer that model yet so you have to get it from Metra or on Amazon.

If I remember correctly, you have to do some cutting in the dash area to get a aftermarket head unit to sit at an angle.

just a heads up

This thread was helpful for pictures of the 95-8904B installed. I really like the flush look much better than the squared look. I will keep that in mind though TwoTone, thanks for the heads up.

I agree, I wasn't a fan of the right angled look for the 95-8903B. But for the time being I figured I would install it because it was free. The HU I purchased, Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD has a screen similar to the one above and it will tilt to have a flush look. I'll take some pics later today.

Pics would be cool, thanks!

Thanks guys, The only thing is I like the "stock" look as well, so I'm going to pick up 2 kits and try and interior color match it... I don't like the black on all the siler in my car.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Now me I am the exact opposite, I like the black on silver contrast. My headunit and gauges are custom mounted in all black enclosures as well as my Focal subwoofer.

Fitment looks great, but not feeling the green illumination on the buttons.

Rogue77 03-11-2011 02:54 PM

With a system like that you should be able to customize the color. Though he might just like the color :)

there is a jdm bezel that matches perfectly. It has the angles and lines of the stock dash, but it's MAD expensive. also, for those that have changed the stock head unit and have bluetooth built in, did you get the stock microphone to work?

If you like the stock look, get the subaru jdm part. Its expensive, but it will look stock.
