Great looking Sedan Throttle! The wing looks great, very sporty!
Nice Ken! It finally came in! Woo hoo! Now we've got twins. OK, maybe not identical twins as I know you got the 5EAT, but twins nonetheless! Just posted mine over in the "Wagons" thread but I can't resist... http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...b/f869ab99.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...f/f852aed6.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...5/f852aee3.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...f/f8248d47.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...a/f8248d8b.jpg Cheers! -Ian |
Thanks Ian.
The wagon looks great, with the windows tinted it looks even better. I think that's next for me too....and the short throw shifter. |
Tint looks good! What are the stats on it?
|
axis - 22% Solargard all around. Except the windshield of course!
35% is supposed to be as dark as you can go here in Washington but no trouble from Johny Law yet. -Ian |
Throttlejockey,
Your pic is now my wallpaper - thanks! Scott |
Anyone mind a pic of an '03 Silverstone in here?? I feel out of place. Bought my car last summer and of course, the NEW ones come out THIS summer! #&@%%!!!!

Here's my now outdated '03!

you can certainly see the familial resemblance.
The rear doors on the 03 are longer than the 05's. The whole car looks ever so slightly taller in the front, and longer overall. The 03 looks nice, but I am not sure how much more of a quantum leap the 05 could make without becoming a truly different (and different looking) car. I checked out a RB GT 5MT in Omaha last weekend, inside and out (didn't get a chance to drive it, but did start it up...) and now I really want one badly. |
One thing Subaru does VERY well is transition. I sold them for 2 years when the very first Outback was introduced. ALL IT WAS was a two-tone wagon that came standard with a roof rack, projector beam foglights, special interior, and a cargo tray in the rear. This was obviously to see how people would take to cosmetic changes. Once THOSE sold, then they raised them up, and beefed them up.
If you look closely at MY car and an '05 sedan, you CAN see the resemblance. Subaru is very good at marketing their product. |
