The rallisportracing prototype.....Finally

Some quick photos of the finished prototype is a 4-2-1 technically and the layout flows well! This design was chosen because it makes more sense than other the typical UEL on the market.

1 5/8" primaries and 1 3/4" secondaries, 2 1/4" final diameter. Will bolt directly to the 2.5i cat/mid pipe and retains the stock O2 locations. The material is full S304. Catalytic converters are MagnaFlow ceramic double dipped combs (same as OEM) and all bends are mandrel not stretch. Ports are gasket matched and fit over or past the lower driver side engine mount!

;)
The more juicy info is that a few lucky folks will get the pre-production units ahead of the final production units! This will help ease demand and get these in the hands of owners to test and talk.

Help is on the way :)

Thread name updated.

Looks nice. Any dyno runs done on it yet? Graphs are always welcome on mods like this.

Looking to get to a AWD Dyno so get some numbers that show similar or slight gains over stock to silence the hate :)

The funny part is, the majority of the people interested in this probably don't even care about the power gain, they just want the rumble!

True LOL but if we can show a gain we can claim "gain" and that helps. But better than that it can be said that this UEL doesn't exhibit or result in the less desirable aspects of the other UEL options on the market. That will be easy: NO CEL and 100% BOLT ON ;)

N.sane 09-23-2010 12:52 PM

Oh wow, that looks nice!

katalyst 09-23-2010 01:22 PM

FearSys 09-23-2010 02:49 PM

I'm sold if it had the rumble of my '07 sti. GOD i miss that car!!!!!!!

legacy360 09-23-2010 04:15 PM

not sure if the headers between th 4th gen and 5th gen leggy are the same but i'd be definitely interested in this. looks great

burnout8488 09-23-2010 05:16 PM

Make sure the final product is 100% bolt up to the cat without any bending or wrestling necessary, it'd make it a much more pleasant install than the stupid ebay headers for the older models!

spongemonster 09-23-2010 06:57 PM

Looks pretty darn slick. It'll be interesting to see if there are any gains.
