It's been a while since I've shared my story of my Legacy and I figure you guys would appreciate it. Current exterior: http://i.imgur.com/KGaetmp.jpg Here's the only picture I have of it stock when I bought it back in 2013, my 2001 Legacy GT 5 speed manual. http://i.imgur.com/krSxUbY.jpg It was stock for around 6 months before the exhaust fell off and I had it straight piped. That was fun. I think that set off something in my head that made me love Subarus. Sadly the engine was getting tired after 180k and being beat on so she quick. I also installed a new stereo and speakers, it was long overdue. http://i.imgur.com/FnuyB68.jpg http://i.imgur.com/hs6eK9y.jpg I agreed to do the timing on my buddys car and ended up doing not only that but his water pump, all new timing covers, a larger radiator, external AT cooler, CAI, and my old wheels. I'm pretty sure I've passed on the bug. http://i.imgur.com/6Bmw0Fo.jpg It took a while but I finally got around to installing the 04 (GT-b ish) style bumper. I've swapped in and even bigger radiator, the 200mm HKS super filter from my RS, as well as its fancy non leaking oil cap. http://i.imgur.com/rR3g7bY.jpg The project after that was EDM needles in the cluster and an LED in my brake like which turned it purple for whatever reason, kinda cool I guess. http://i.imgur.com/B3PBqQC.jpg Lately with only a little suspension work to be done I've been focusing on renovating my garage/shop I'm storing and working on my cars at. I'll be RS swapping a 95 Impreza wagon with EJ20k cams to use as a rally car while I widebody and build an EJ22t for the coupe. The wagon might be getting the 20k block with upgraded pistons and a turbo (twin maybe?) build in the near future though, then it'd be a true 'RS' Legacy. I installed 2003 black face gauges, which I more than pleased with http://i.imgur.com/13fOOjq.jpg But the EDM gauges feel so much better, even though I've lost my second trip meter and temp gauge http://i.imgur.com/3C6Zd2J.jpg In the next week or so I'll be doing all new front axles, tie rod/ends, ball joints, 22mm sway bars, and brakes but after that I'll be installing what just came in. http://i.imgur.com/xA5teV3.jpg New timing pullies, belt, tensioner, spark plugs, rocker gaskets, cam seals, and magnetic oil drain plug.
