I've got a 95 L wagon I got for dirt cheap, 2.2, 5mt, plan to use it as a DD. I've got an old Fidanza flywheel from my 97 GT, question is, why do I keep hearing it won't work on the 2.2? The internet has been it's typical s.o.l. help with 2nd gen questions and parts. I beseech you oh forum guru's, take pitty on me, forgoe the newbie comments, and stick to the facts, starter grind, 11.4" vs 11.3", pilot bearing, ect. Thank you.... ohhh and for real, if you want rain guards, leave a note on a 96-99 outback with them, thats how I got mine got $50 and some new double sided. Baddog Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 I used a flywheel for an LGT on my 2.2 motor and 2.2 trans. It will work. NO issues with a 2.5 clutch or flywheel on a 2.2. At least I didn't have any when I did my 5 speed swap Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
