Getting the right stance with stock wheels, Wider tires?

Recommended Posts

Newbie here. Just bought an 06 Legacy gt. Has anyone put wider or taller than stock tires on their stock rims? The stock wheel and tire hight leave a kind of gapped and sucked in look. IF you have put wider and or taller tires on the stock wheels, or lowered it with the stock wheels, could you please post some pics?

Thanks.

There are plenty of pictures of a lowered LGT on stock wheels. The stock wheels have such a high offset that getting them to be somewhat flush would most likely require spacers. You are better off just getting different wheels to be more flush and/or spacers. Plus the stock wheels in my opinion arent that good looking. If you want new wheels that are oem go with the 11-14 wrx wheels or brz/frs wheels. Both of them look good.

Nope, no one has ever done that before. You should pave the way for us all.

Spare yourself the heartache. 05 & 06 are identical for your purposes. Now read this thread - http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/faq-offsets-sizes-rims-and-tires-gt-xenonk-version-4426.html, which you have found here: http://legacygt.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/wheels-tires-43.html
