cdilmore
My driver's side rear door window sill is torn... tried gluing it a couple of times. a) Is that called the sill - black plastic piece (rubbery at the top) that runs horizontally at the bottom of the window/top of the door? b) Anyone know a non-dealer source? c) Anyone ever replace one - looks like it just snaps out/back in. Thanks a lot! Chuck
daddykubs
Yeah. Would like to know that too. Both front "weather strips"(?) are destroyed due to poor maitenance in the past. Now they started to scratch glass :/ So need new ones and then glass polish.
wurkenman
Try the bone yard. There is a small screw on the inside by the very ends of these strips under the rubber gasket. Do not try and pop it off. If you woke up today, you have another chance to do it right.
daddykubs
I know, thanks. But was thinking more like "new" Doesn't have to be from dealers at stupidly high price. If any one is doing quality replacements- that would do nicely.
cdilmore
62280AG011 (BELT MOULDING REAR left DRIVERS SIDE FOR 2005-2009 LEGACY ALL) Found some places on the web, but with shipping it cost as much as the dealership. Plus, I had some Subaru bucks, so I went with it.
