lolol
I don't have the key for rear gate, because whoever had it me wrecked it and replaced the whole gate. ignition key was worn to hell bur I was able to reverse engineer the key and regenerate a new one by code without pulling door lock apart. Now... ideally I'd like to remove the rear cylinder so I can get it recoded to match the rest of the car. If I need a working key to pull it, I'd have to pick it, or generate a working key by (hopefully... code is stamped). Once I get it out, is the rear cylinder rekeyable? monkeyposeur
I asked a locksmith about this. Basically he told me that if the cylinder that I gave him was functional he could make it work. He said that if I gave him the key that I would be using it was possible. I never had him do it though.
