Hey Everybody,

For months now i have been trying to figure out what wheels i want to get for my spec.b. I have been making a list of wheels but cant decide which ones to go with.

found a new wheel that i really like but seems like no one has them on their Legacy.

The wheels are Bremmer Kraft Bro5. I have never heard of them until yesterday when i saw them on Tirerack. They looks pretty nice and pretty cheap.

What do you guys think?

Looks pretty nice, actually. I wonder what offset is on that Audi...

I also wonder if they'd clear Brembos...

Bummer, looks like they don't clear brembos.

They are 17x8's and they come in 18x8 also. No offset listed. They don't fit the 04 STi though :(

i have a very similar design wheel from sonic tuning ( google on nasioc vendor ). looks good. my set is 18x8.5 + 48 245 40 18 / on koni/htech / rolled all around + some pull on the front to clear my tires

do you have any pics of the car with the wheels on?

Yeah i would get them in 18x8.I am guessing the offset might be 48 or something like that.

Verified today at tirerack- 48 offest. Looking at a set for my wagon as well , 18x 8's, with something a bit wider...say 235's on them.

Yah, the Sonic Tuning ST100's look great. I'm trying to get enough interest to get a run of 17" made (http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/gi-17-wheels-sonic-tuningi-need-10-buyers-deposits-157335.html).

I think they look better and more like the original (BBS CH) than the OPs suggestion.

Definitely post up pics when you get a chance please.

If the Bremmer Kraft Bro5 has a backspacing of 6.41" which is just about the same as the sti bbs backspacing of 6.4" Wouldn't the Bro5's clear brembo's?

Backspacing isn't the only thing that affects brake clearance. Spoke shape plays a huge roll.

Just spent an hour researching these as I need to replace my original spec b wheels due to pothole damage......they look great.

I am worried about the different offset though. I am pretty sure the OEM wheels are 18x7.5 with +55 offset. These come in 18x8 with +48 offset. Does anyone know any negatives for this ? (wheel hub damage , rubbing ,etc)

Any comments appreciated :)

Do it right the first time.........or don't bother doing it at all.

I just saw these wheels as well. I really like the styling of them.

What tire size are you looking to run on your B?

Since the OP hasn't returned to this thread for a while ,I'll assume you were asking me :) ........I plan to switch over my new ContiExtremeDWS's 225x40xVR18

Just ordered these w/ 235/40/18s in Silver!! Lowered on Eibachs so hopefully no rub!!! Can't wait!

Nice meaty tires ! We're gonna need pics !

I just ordered these in Black for my Spec B. I am going with 225/40/18.

Wow ! Another B brother getting these ! Please post pics.....I need visual confirmation that these are a good replacement for my spec B wheels !

Will do. The wheels and tires are being delivered today, I just ordered them yesterday!

I went with 225's. Much wider than the stock tires but not too wide that they will hook every rut in the road. PA roads really suck. I am also lowered on Eibach's but with Bilsteins, hopefully no rubbing issues either. I wasn't sure if the 235's would fit so I played it safe.

I am going to try and install them this weekend. The weather is a bit sketchy right now on the East Coast, but it's suppose to clear up by Sunday. So I will take some quick pics then.

Next thing I want to do is try to find a replacement Sticker for the center-cap. I hope I can find and STI overlay that will be the same size and the Bremmer one.
