jhaley18 Posted February 1, 2013 Share Posted February 1, 2013 Hi, Starting today, I noticed a "belt-like" squealing sound coming from the front lower drivers side when the car is under throttle (around 3K RPM's). That is the only time it is noticeable. It sounds a lot like a belt squealing but there isn't any belt in that part of the engine compartment. I suspect given that it is coming under load (doesn't happen when the engine is revved in park) that it might be the transmission although there doesn't appear to be any slipping going on.
