I have a just done a gtb conversion but I de-pinned of of the main engine plugs . On the passenger side for jdm or drivers side for American ones there is 2 plugs at the front near the battery that connect the engine . One has 12 wires the other has 8 wires . twisty Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 you didnt put any info on the car. what year are you talking about? it may be different from year to year, especially if i give you a pic of my 95 and you have a 98 or 99. also, mine isnt RHD or jdm anything, so there may be a difference there. It probably won't help but it's worth a shot. Send me your email in a PM (private message) and I'll get it to you. I also have the 95 manual but it doesn't have the wiring section. Check this link for other FSMs: http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/subaru_manual_scans/Â I'll go outside and see if I can get a pic of my '95 EJ22E that might be useful. monkeyposeur Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 Is the plug located in this diagram? ecu pinouts for 1996 wrx: http://www.northursalia.com/modifications/misc/wiring/wiring.html Some wiring diagrams from MY92-96, MY97-98, & MY99-00 Impreza turbos: http://www.jollygreenmonster.com/pinouts.htm Hopefully you can trace the wires from the appropriate ecu pinouts and get the colors matched up with your female end of the engine harness.
