225/47/17's rubbing

^ sorry, 225/45/17's

I just put a set of 17x7.5s on my 08 LGT ltd. they came off an 05 with the same 225/45/17 blizzaks on it. I know the offset sets the wheels out and widens the stance, but heres the issue.

They did not rub on his car for 2 seasons. On mine only the left rear rubs and it hits all the way from the top center of the fender to about 8" toward the rear. It hits under full acceleration or hard right turns. The ride height is the same from left to right, but the right rear does not rub. I havent put a load in the back seat or trunk either out of fear.

What would cause only the one side to compress a solid 2" and rub?

Any help is appreciated, otherwise the stockers are going back on.

thanks:confused:

brought it to the shop to put on an alignment rack and such....turns out the car was hit before i owned it and i ended up at a body shop taking measurements. Fender wasnt pulled back out far enough when it was fixed sometime in its past life, before me. thanks for the ideas tho!
