kenji815
I was just browsing the web and found these Project Mu lugs nuts. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r64/garagespec/project%20mu/IMG_0682.jpg What do you guys think of these? They look similar to Project kics with Project mu stamping. HAWT
Hanger
i can't really see the details... what makes it "HAWT"? ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
kenji815
I love two piece floating lugs. Which is pretty rare besides project kics and mcgard. They seat better than your conventional lug nuts and they don't mess up the lug seating area on the rim.
GTLegs
There is a big sale on those on NASIOC.
nKoan
Man, you must like these a lot Anyway, I've got the two piece floating McGards and I must say that design kicks ass. But the only problem with the McGards is that I don't like having to use a key to take them on and off.
kenji815
Another thing about the mcgard is the key are very fragile. Alot of people break them. Those key are made out of very thin metal.
JonLGT
How much do these go for? I need some lugs.
nKoan
The floating seat for one. It lets you torque down the rims without messing up the mounting surface of the wheel's lug holes.
meier motor sports
looks good. is that a special socket for it or can a regular 19 mm fit?
nKoan
I asked the same question on NASIOC. The answer I got was that it takes a 21mm socket, but it comes with a socket adapter for 19-21mm
mickeyd2005
If that picture is the actual M12x1.25 lug nut then I don't see how the hex flats on the lug nut can be 21 mm. Maybe the flats on the included socket are 21 mm. My guess is 17mm. If they truly are 21 mm then I would suggest that the buyers pay special attention to their wheels. Some wheels will not fit such a large lug nut socket.
kenji815
It's not a special socket. I believe it uses a 21mm metric deep socket. As the area that grabs is towards the end. By the design of the lug, it looks like you don't really need to insert the socket completely to get a hold of the lug.

NutBucket
What annoys me is that the McGard spline drives are two piece but the lock nuts aren't. WTF is that about?
