Tide Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 The hope was that it worked like Facebook where you could just type @Tide and I would get a notification I was mentioned. It doesn't seem to work as promised, or their paid "upgrade" actually does what I want and they give the annoying version away for free. One of those I think. -TT- Posted February 7, 2012 Author Share Posted February 7, 2012 the "@' tag works, but i don't think anyone cares to use it. also, the "mentions" only appear on themes that support it. either way, considering nobody uses it on other VB boards, nobody knows what it is. also nobody knows how to use it or what it's benefits are (presumably little to none) looks like a loser unlike the thanks button which users here use as a "like" feature. hell, you could even change the thanks button to a "like" button and see even more use, i reckon.
