FMS Fitment issue!!!!

I purchased this catback off a member on here locally. He stated it was on his sedan but he hated the drone. So he added this huge can of a resonator as pictured below(6inch case). I try to install the catback and the can is so enormous it doesnt clear the driveshaft. So I purchase a thrush glasspack. I bolt everything up and find out that this now rests up agains the gas tank. Sooo im looking and looking and find that the flange it self appears to bent. Notice in the pictures below. There has to be a half inch gap or so to let the resonator clear. When you tighten it up it just jams right up on the tank. Mind you the case is 4inches. I have some pictures below to try and show the best of my ability of the bent flange. Well if it is supposed to be like this. If it is supposed to be like this if there was just a pipe it would be extremly close i would think. If it was completely flat I would say it would be fine?

Does anyone have issues with rear sway bars and control arms? I noticed it is veryyy close to both about a fingers gap. I would like to upgrage to a whiteline which is 20mm vs stock is 19 and it looks to be extremely close as it is.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting this, but you had the 6" muffler removed, and a glasspack welded in. It doesn't look like your flange is bent to me. It looks like whoever welded it (your glasspack) in welded it in at an angle.

The glasspack was just placed on the pipe for picture purposes (hence hanging down) it has not been welded or clamped. I guess il go to my local exhaust shop and have them get it to work. Yes that tractor resonator is overkill.

I don't know if I'd continue working on this mate. You'll need to move your sway bar with brackets/mounts (I'll get a pic if you want) an perhaps elongate a hanger for clerence issues from the looks of it. Your call-

Why even bother? It's so hacked up now, you'd probably save money by starting over at an exhaust shop for a custom catback.

How is it hacked up? The previous owner put in that huge tractor resonator to rid drone. I didnt want ground clearance issues plus didnt fit. So I opted for a 25inch long resonator because I hate any forums of drone as well as cats.. For what I paid its no where close to what a shop would rape me. Plus they crush bend the pipes....no thanks. If the flange wasnt "bent" at such an angle we would not be having this convo. So a simple trip to the exhaust shop to put in a new angled pipe and lower a rear hanger to clear my sway it will be mint.

The flange isn't bent, you posted your own pics of straight edges on the flanges and they look flat in the pictures. It also looks like you are trying to mate a donut flange with a 3" flange. It' never gonna happen.
