I dont know if its my inner teenager comming out, but after my swap I wanna geta 3" QTP Cutout kit for the lgt. I had it up on the hooist yesterday, but there isnt a whole lot of room to put a Cutout AND a Electric motor on the exhaust piping. Im open to put it anywhere....Anywho used one and ahve some pics or suggestions.

for reference i have a Cobb Catted DP, and Magnablow cbe

They are pretty fun, I used to have one one of my previous "race cars"... sometimes they leak a little bit, you have to make sure you actuate it once in a while.

It gets REALLY loud when you open it up, and it does make throttle response a million years better.

If you know someone that can cut and weld for you, the cost of the pipe itself is not too bad. It's EXTREMELY illegal to have anything that you can open up from the cockpit by the way.. of course chances of getting "caught" are slim to none...

Awesome fun toy though!

just so you know they make a vacuum actuated one also. It opens up when the turbo has spooled up and is boosting. Just install a valve to bleed off the air if you dont want it to open. Plus its no wires to run, less things to break. I have been considering that route also. just not sure if i want to hack up my exhaust
