WhiteyFresh
Hey all - I was browsing through the news and saw what looks like a 4th Gen Legacy in the wall of a CVS in North Haven, CT: http://media2.wtnh.com//photo/2011/04/16/Report_It_-_CVS_North_Haven_-_Melissa_Sharron_1_20110416111201_640_480.JPG Full article here Fortunately, it does not seem like anyone was seriously injured. MrHellrais3R
Well it's obvious why this happened lol. 1: old driver 2: woman driver ;-) But really.. How does someone "lose control" of their vehicle in a parking lot, hit a car, ramp the curb, and drive through a wall. That's why I believe every driver after the age of 60 should be required to retake a drivers test (free obviously) every 2-5 years for safety reasons (which I feel are really obvious). It's not to bash on older drivers. When I'm at that age, I would hope they do this. Most elderly drivers don't realize they shouldn't be on the road anymore. joeleodee
They must have some potent drugs there, yo. On a side note, recently an old driver was leaving a local Walgreens and he suffered a medical condition, mashed the gas, hopped over a ditch and into a power transformer setting it off and bringing it down. He did not survive
ShrinerMonkey
Parts sharing between Toyota and Subaru must be the cause of this unintended acceleration.

snow05gtRI
there's a cumberland farms in my home town in RI that has had a car go through the front wall of it numerous times (3 that i can recall from when i lived there). The parking spots for the store are in front of it, facing the building. after the most recent one, they put up large concrete columns that have a metal tube over them at the top of each parking space to stop any runaway vehicles...
