Hey guys I have an abundance of this stuff at work. At no charge to me. It's been 2 years since my last change of tranny and rear diff fluids. I did the Scotty cocktail prior and really didn't notice a difference except that $68 bill for the fluids. Didn't see much in the search here. Couple of old post from 04. Anyone had any problems with this fluid? I'll can change it out every couple of months if need be. Thanks

05 OBXT stock with 112k

It'll be fine, as long as it's a GL-5 fluid.

I'd change it more frequently than every 2 years, if I were you. 30k is the max I'd go.

I'd change it annually, if I were you.

I'd also NEVER use the Scottys cocktail again. You are lucky you didn't do any damage to the trans. That cocktail contains Synchromesh, which is a fluid only suitable for transmissions designed for GL4 fluids.

Wow. **** don't say that. New to Subbies and heard that was the way to go. All in all it would be hard to explain why my fluid is blue. I have an awesome aftermarket warranty group that takes all claims. Wachovia Warranty Solutions...
