All_talk
Its time to replace the struts on my '07 Spec B. I'm quite happy with the stock package, I think its a great balance, a smooth easy driver and responds nicely when I asked for more. I drive 500 freeway miles a week so I'm not looking to give up much in ride quality. So my first thought was just go with OEM replacements... tell I saw the price. I did a bit of searching and it looks like the HD Bilsteins are the most direct replacement and can be had for about half the price. But they are said to be a bit stiffer, so my question is how much stiffer than the stock Spec B strut? Am I going to notice a significant change? kanazteck261
We should start a bilstein exchange thread so specb owners in need of new struts can save cost. Chris GTO TT
for proper ride/handling shocks and springs you should match the spring rate to the bound and rebound valving on the shocks. 2003 Baja 5MT 2016 Outback 2.5i Premium w/Eyesight
