Both of those ways look more ridiculous than just putting it where it belongs so you don't get hassled by the cops.

To each their own, and neither of those display methods will attract the attention of police.

Also technically speaking anytime you have to damage your front bumper to mount a license plate, you're not putting it where it belongs. Which is what a majority of dealerships do upon selling a vehicle.

license plate

here in WA we just tie rap it to the passenger visor and put it down

ecoflame 10-15-2012 04:09 PM

That's pretty cool, I actually saw a mustang from WA the other day with their plate like that. Lol.

Rattsl 10-15-2012 11:11 PM

Don't think I'd do the visor. It'll most likely end up on the front end anyways. Shame.

front plate

Front plates are so ugly! I haven't run one for 13 years on any of my cars!:)

So is the sequel to this thread going to be "I thought I knew heart ache, then my subaru blew a head gasket"?

04caliwrx 11-25-2012 04:16 PM

Does it matter? :) There are a ton of us on here that don't have Legacy GTs. Those who want one... those who had one... those who just enjoy the folks and information on here... This forum doesn't discriminate.

Actually I spun a rod bearing. Not a head gasket. :(

987687 11-26-2012 10:34 AM

I was debating between headgasket and rod bearing... There's a joke on an IRC channel I'm on... if someone says "knock knock" the answer is EJ25...
