bigleben Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 Hi everyone. I think I need the community for this one. I'm having a tranny noise that bothers me and cannot figure what it could be. It seems clutch related. Car : 2007 OBXT MT stg1, stock clutch (PO told me he didn't change it FWIW) Changed fluid early 2015 with new "extra-S", can't say if its related as its started to be freaking cold at this time (-20 F) Symptom (worst on cold startup and fades once warmed up but doesn't completely disapear) : "friction" sound when I switch gear and while coasting. No noise under load. It is not a squeal sound like a TOB failure. Can't say if it could be classifed as a chatter noise. I added link focus when I switch gear and around 40sec when I'm cruising without giving to much throttle. Thanks for looking/helping Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
