H&R springs not right?!

Recommended Posts

So ordered kyb struts and H&R lowering springs for my 98 legacy gt sedan.

The website said 90-98 legacy all models except wagon.

Well fronts went in no problem. Then the rear springs were tapered at the top and would not seat properly on the struts.

So now i am riding around with the front lowered, and the rear on stock springs.

It does not look terrible but i paid 200$ for springs that i can now not put in my car.

Anyone else have this issue?

Sure. Turn the spring a little bit.

I rode around in my 98 Outback for a day with the rear lowered and the front at stock height....It was awesome

Dear H&R customer,

Before installing your new H&R springs, be sure to check that the H&R spring shape (size) matches the

factory springs. Some Subarus have different shaped (size) rear springs.

Thank you for choosing H&R!

So wtf are the right springs? GRR
