STI_Steve Posted October 17, 2016 Author Share Posted October 17, 2016 The insert was in the donor strut and the top of the insert piston sheared off when I was trying to tighten the top hat. #atemywheaties Now the insert is jammed in the donor strut and. FLlegacy Posted October 17, 2016 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Yes you do, unscrew the bolt and tap the bolt head to get it out, you may need a longer bolt to get it all the way or just use a punch or screwdriver. Sounds like you didn't cut enough of the strut body off. Either way the insert is done, I would be though you can send it in to Koni for repair/rebuild.
