Nameless muffler deletes...

Well I just received an email stating that mine will be built the first full week in MAY.

EvvLGTWagon 04-26-2013 07:06 AM

Look sweet. I'd be interested in hearing what they sound like.

If you want to hear what they will sound like, remove your mufflers, start the car.

My Spec B sounds great with the mufflers removed and the deletes I had made years ago. The exhaust is still stock, turbo back.

I have posted sound clips on here.

the bigger tips will make a huge difference. i had a jetta with a 2.5" exit, then put on a 3" dual tip. world of difference. trust me

coppertone 04-29-2013 09:11 PM

Well hopefully it is as stated and the production of my deletes will occur the first full week in May....

here's the difference
2.5" tip

3" dual tip

Oh yea baby 3" tip for the sound effects. :)

I'm really interested in knowing if these muffler deletes have a 'hissing' sound with heavy throttle. Like air gushing. this video has me wondering:
can anyone with these muffler deletes comment on this? thanks!!

Brett 05-02-2013 07:21 AM

Original ordered April 5/6th range. Original units that were shipped to me on 4/19 were not power coated. I spoke with Nameless and shipped them back and they are having them coated and sent back to me. They apologized for the mistake and have been excellent to work with! I will say when opening the original box with the first set of deletes, they looked awesome! Smooth beautiful welds, and great looking tips.

Again cant wait to re-receive them in black!!

I will be posted pics and video of install and test drive.
I believe I will have the loudest possible set up, CNT catted DP with EWG, and Ill be using A Perrin midpipe from my current CBE.

I'm glad to hear that they were a pleasure to deal with as far as fixing their mistake. I just want mine to arrive soon and as perfect as everyone is saying that they will be. No rush job sent out the door just so not to hear my mouth kind of deal.

I know that they have a low rumble on both the 4th gens and the 5th gens alike!! For us 5th gen guys the full cbe and tbe should be up for purchase here soon!! On may 15 it's getting put on my car and I will post some pictures and video of the full set up if you guys want

coppertone 05-02-2013 01:57 PM

Well I for one would appreciate it even though I know I won't be going further then the muffler deletes if and when I get them.

Red-rover 05-05-2013 11:57 AM

Does anyone know if the deletes will bolt to a Cobb Y pipe? I have been looking at these and kinda want to swap my cobb mufflers for the deletes.
