Front Koni inserted (Using EDM Legacy 2.0R OEM front strut body. The spring perch is 3.5cm lower than EDM Outback Strut)

Currently stock Outback 3.0R springs are used, may change to STI pinks later...

Rear Koni for Legacy "converted", note the two new grooves to hold the spring seat.

The rear suspension is now 3 way height adjustable (no more saggy butt, currently the middle groove is being used)

Bright Taxi Yellow Paint, I did it myself...probably not worth the effort IMO...all that work just to snap this picture...

Toyo T1-Sport rubber 225/40/19...replacing much loved Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 245/40/19, used less than 10K miles because they rub after lowering :/

How's it ride?

Very Settled, even at full soft...

I have 19s but the ride is fine.

Compared to JDM aftermarket Japan-Made KYB New SR Blues (one level above China-made GR-2/Excell-G), Koni has noticeable better rebound control so the "return bounce" after hitting a bump is much less pronounced.

Good to hear. I was afraid of bad things with the 19s/konis, but sounds like it isn't the case. Sharp outback...sorry you had to ditch the eagle f1's

As long as you stay away from rock hard Bridgestones the ride will be fine...

Changing RE050A (non run flat) to F1 made the ride and highway noise much better. strangely my German-made F1 makes more low speed hum..but I only hear it when the radio is off.

Toyo T1-Sport is also pretty good in ride and noise compared to F1, but does not have F1's confidence in the rain.

I once lost all tire pressure (TPMS reads 0 psi) due to a puncture while driving in town with RE050A, I drove my car about 1/2 mile with 0 psi in one tire to find a safe location to stop and there was no damage to my 19 inch wheel, just to show you how tough the Bridgestone sidewall is....

PS: The JDM ZEROSPORT LCA bushing from Japan is HARD...I have removed all CUSCO front and rear suspension braces and the front upper strut bar to reduce the harshness....

I might switch to Taiwan-made HARDRACE LCA solid rubber bushings later. My shop has compared HARDRACE solid rubber bushings side by side with ZEROSPORT version that I currently use and the HARDRACE rubber material is noticeably more compliant.
