Gborja888
I want to know if anyone change their rear lower control arm for camber adjustment after lowering their car? Did you also change the rear toe and rear lateral link control arms too?

Did you also change the rear toe and rear lateral link control arms too? I don't think anyone made adjustable lateral links for the 5th. It's possible to get it custom made because it's adjustable, I remember someone did that for the 4gen Legacys. If you can get one made in china, I'm sure there will be some interests. mod journal
Gborja888
There are actually two companies which make adjustable lateral links for our car. Hardrace Taiwan and Cusco Japan. I have just discovered that Hardrace is sold as Megan racing in US based on their part number. Check these links: Cusco lateral links: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.10.47.ZhqOjV&id=10140535729 Hardrace: http://www.hardrace.com/products.asp?strClass1=9&strClass2=66&strClass3=169 I'm not sure if I have to change all the control arms. But surely the lower control arm had to be change for camber adjustment. The rear toe for toe in-out adjustment, how about the lateral link? I have heard it is also for toe-in toe-out adjustment? Rutchard
Most who have lowered like the extra camber. But feel free to be the first to swap out control arms, someone's gotta do it eventually.

xero287
The ones that are for your car also fit my car as I believe we have similar rear ends. These are the options (I chose to go with AP): Cusco: http://www.revworksinc.com/Cusco-Rear-Lateral-Link-08-WRXSTi-2013-BRZFR-S_p_423.html GTSpec: http://www.maperformance.com/blog/2009/09/01/gtspec-press-release-%E2%80%93-08-subaru-wrxsti-adjustable-rear-lateral-links/ AP: http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/agency-power-rear-adjustable-control-arms-subaru-wrx-sti-0812-p-45733.html
Gborja888
These are all for WRX/STI. Are you sure it will also fit our car? I also liked the AP, but it is a little expensive. How about this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/DME-REAR-LOWER-CONTROL-ARM-TOE-LINK-ROD-13-SCION-FR-S-08-13-SUBARU-WRX-STi-BRZ-/190741094991?forcev4exp=true&forceRpt=true This is the cheapest: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MEGAN-4pc-Rear-Lower-Camber-Control-Toe-Arm-WRX-STi-GRF-GVF-GEE-GHE-BM9-BR9-/230845049543?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D3107133194371320535%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D2%26sd%3D190741094991%

Gborja888
It looks like someone is selling a made in China rear toe control arm here, but it is for Forester. It is very cheap, only about US40. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.3.0.96.wewegD&id=12424585471& Not sure though if it will fit our car. But it really looks like it will. nctuan03
I took my car to the alignment shop after coilover installed, they told me all I need was the adjustable lower rear control arm. Here is the link http://www.meganracingperformance.com/search_subaru_legacy_2010-2012_control-arms.html This website also sells it but for 2008-2010 wrx/sti and not sure if it fits on our legacy. Can anyone confirm it? http://www.advancespeedshop.com/gtspec-rear-lower-control-with-camber-adjustment-20082010-subaru-impreza-wrxsti-sus1376-p-14307.html

Once this is done, definitely the position of rear housing will change and not sure if the OEM rear toe and trailing arm will still fit exactly once this is done. But I definitely think it will lead to toe-out situation at the rear. When are you planning to get this?

xero287
I don't suggest you buy something this crucial from Megan Racing or the like. It does hold up your ENTIRE rear suspension. Go with Cusco or AP.

Go with Cusco or AP. Actually I have finally decided to get the one made by Summit Racing which is being sold in US as GTSPEC. This is much more expensive than the Hardrace/Megan counterpart. I've seen this product personally, the quality seems pretty good. http://borjaphoto.com/temp/Rear_toe.jpg http://borjaphoto.com/temp/rear_lower_control_arm.jpg The Cusco or AP are too expensive in my opinion. xero287
GTSpec is fine as long as you have coilovers installed. The bend is not the same as OEM and is intended for lowered cars with adjustable height. Also, I wasn't saying you must buy expensive parts, I was speaking more in terms of look for quality over affordable. If you can't afford it, then don't purchase anything yet. Wait until you have the funds for the proper parts.

I have been running the car with negative camber for more than 2 weeks already and would want to fix that asap before my new 19 in rim arrived next weekend. Gen5is
Not being a dick or anything, or probably just my OCD kicking in, but i dont like how theyve welded the rear trailing arm and they dont look safe(?). But im sure theyre safe as they would have passed QC to be available for sale.
